Carmen Mörsch interests lie in re/constructing histories, concepts and practices in art education starting from a queer-feminist and post-colonial/critical race perspective. Together with Nora Landkammer, she forms e-a-r (education and arts research) collective.

She is a member of the network “Another Roadmap for Arts Education” which unites colleagues who seek to analyse and develop art education collaboratively in an emancipatory and decolonizing perspective.

Until August 2018 she has been head of the Institute for Art Education at the Zurich University of the Arts, Switzerland. From 2003 to 2008 she has been professor material culture education at the at Carl von Ossietzky University Oldenburg. She has been working internationally as a visiting Scholar i.e. at the Institute for Curatorial Research & Practice at the School of the Art Institute, Chicago, USA; Fundacion Museos de la Ciudad Quito, Ecuador; Master Cultural Production, Salzburg University; Camberwell College of Art, MA Curatorial Studies, London; Wits School of the Arts, University of Witswatersrand, Johannesburg, SA.

From 2011 until today, she has been conducting the PhD programme “Art Education” at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.

Álvaro Domingues (1959) is a geographer, PhD in Human Geography by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto (FLUP), Professor at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto (FAUP) at master's and doctorate degrees levels. Member of the Scientific Council of FAUP 2012-2018. Researcher at the Center for Studies in Architecture and Urbanism (CEAU - FAUP). Professor of the Master Degree “Projecto do Ambiente Urbano” (FAUP/FEUP). Professor of the Doctoral Programme “Architecture of Contemporary Metropolitan Territories” of ISCTE, and also Professor of the PhD Programmes of the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Lisbon, Coimbra and Minho.

As a researcher at CEAU-FAUP, he has been developing projects with the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, with the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), with the CCDR - N and CCDR - C , with the Xunta of Galicia, with the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Coruña, with Erasmus University of Rotterdam-EURICUR, with Club Ville Aménagement – Paris; with CCCB, Barcelona, with the Barcelona School of Architecture, with the University of Granada, with the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, EPFL-ENAC; with the Federal University of S. Paulo and Rio de Janeiro; with the municipalities of Guimarães and Porto, with the Portuguese Association of Architects, with the Youth Foundation, among others institutions.

He studied Arts at the Central University of Ecuador (2007) and Visual Anthropology at the Latin American School of Social Sciences (2011).

He has worked as an art educator in social projects and primary schools; he collaborated as an external tutor of the “Experiencia Locales: Arte y Comunidad” programme of the Escuela de Arte de la Universidad Católica del Ecuador (2013-2015); he coordinated the department of Community Research and Mediation at the Foundación Museos de la Ciudad (2011 – 2015).

Currently he is a member of the international network Another Roadmap School where he develops a research that focuses on references, practices and discourses of popular and community education in Ecuador and its possible relationship with arts education and cultural mediation. Within this network he coordinates the Glosario Multivocal, a virtual forum whose purpose is to establish a common and transregional framework of common concepts and notions for critical education practice.

In 2016, he participated in the course "Sociology of the Image" given by Silvia Rivera Cusicanqui at La Paz, Bolivia; in 2015, he participated in the "Dias de Estudio" project co-curated by Sofía Olascoaga within the framework of Incerteza Viva, 32nd São Paulo Bienal.

Javier Rodrigo Montero is the coordinator of the research and cultural mediation project Transductores. He has developed programmes in the scope of collective pedagogies, citizen participation and community culture with several cultural institutions such as the Reina Sofia, Fundación Museos Quito, Museo de Antioquia, Tabakalera Donosti, among others.

At the present, develops Ordit in Barcelona, the community culture and health programme Interficies and is also part of the Arnau Theater, a cultural equipment of community management.
